A Dokploy VPS is a private virtual server with Dokploy pre-installed and automatically configured with Docker. You choose the Dokploy template at order (or later via one-click reinstallation). Everything is on Ubuntu with full root access.

Once your Dokploy server is activated, you receive a summary email with:

• your root SSH credentials,

No, not necessarily. Dokploy provides a simple web interface to deploy and manage your Docker applications without using the command line.

Root SSH access is of course available for advanced users. But most common actions (deployment, SSL, domain name, services, databases) are done from the Dokploy interface. By default, Dokploy is accessible via your server's IP on port 3000.
